2014 IEEE APS Workshop on EM Education

Venue: Grand Hi-Lai Hotel, Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Date: Dec. 5th, 2014

The goal of this Global EM Education Program (sponsored by IEEE AP-S) is to have teachers from different countries share resources with each other, and to have the students increase their motivation to study the EM theory. We have the ambition in mind that well-trained students could eventually work together across boundaries.

The first step to fulfill the goal is to have a comprehensive understanding between the participants. A workshop focusing on EM education is therefore held in conjunction with the ISAP 2014 (http://isap2014.org). Experienced professors from countries in Region 10 as well as the United States and European Union are invited to share their invaluable teaching experiences and to introduce recent activities regarding reforming teaching materials (http://www.emedu.org.tw).

We wish the workshop become a milestone which eventually leads to a tighter international cooperation across the countries in R10.
